3. Infield Digital Job Opportunities

Infield Digital is a web development agency with offices in San Francisco and Denver, focused on enterprise CMS, eCommerce, and custom integrations for over 10 years. Our clients range from medium sized B2B to Fortune 500 companies. Our primary focus is on Adobe Experience Manager. It is an extraordinarily trending platform, leader on the market, with well engineered foundations mostly based on Apache projects (Sling, Oak, Jackrabbit, etc...). Our work around platforms like AEM is fun and we are lucky it brings us a lot of variety in the type of projects we are delivering to our clients. From complicated integrations with systems like SalesForce or Marketo to very interactive and dynamic pieces using React or Angular for instance. We are constantly exploring new things and have the chance to be part of a very talented team that we are trying to grow with the right choice of motivated and curious people.

Infield Digital is aggressively to hiring front-end developers and Java developers (enterprise CMS)

4. Algae Biofuel Multidisciplinary Renewable Energy Project, Student Researchers Needed!

Originally sponsored by the Boeing Company, this multidisciplinary renewable energy project includes participants from Electrical Engineering, Physics and Biological Sciences. Our overall goal is to investigate electric fields as a method for disrupting algae to release lipids for potential biofuel applications. We are currently looking for Physics or EE students interested in high frequency (RF) electrical characterization of algae and growth media. Tasks include algae test chamber and electrical probe development, AC impedance and S-parameter measurements using impedance and network analyzers, and algae specimen electrical equivalent model development. Relevant background includes AC circuit analysis, high frequency (RF) systems, and electromagnetic fields.
For more information, please contact Dr. Dean Arakaki, EE Department, darakaki@calpoly.edu
