Olympics! Take pictures with a WISH friend/mentor/mentee in front of things!

Cal Poly's Computer Science
Department offers tutoring, free of charge, for all students taking CSC
courses. We offer help on all scheduled evenings for students in CSC/CPE 101,
102, 103, or 141. We also do our best to cater to the demand of 357. If you
need help outside of class and your professor's office hours, the tutoring
service is for you.

an Engineer Day is an event for 6th through 8th grade students to learn more
about what it means to be an engineer! The day consists of 4 hands-on lab
activities hosted by various engineering clubs on campus. This event provides
the students with a great opportunity to experience different engineering
disciplines. But this can’t happen without your help!

Looking for a job or just want to improve your resume? Come to the ATL on Wednesday, May 4th from 6-7:30pm for an EWB-specific resume workshop with older members around giving advice on how to successfully advertise EWB to potential employers. The meeting will also include a talk on career paths in international development!
IMPACT 2016 (5/6-8 & 13-15)
IMPACT, EWB's annual volunteer event, is happening this weekend, May 6-8th and next weekend, May 13-15th. Community service opportunities include SLO Jazz Fest, Meade Canine, SLO Bike Kitchen, and more! Sign-up with your team and friends ASAP! Nicaragua Volleyball Tournament (5/22)
On Sunday, May 22nd from 12-4pm the Nica team will be hosting their annual fundraising volleyball tournament at Pismo Beach. In the casual bracket, teams can range from 4-6 players, and in the competitive bracket, teams can have 2 people. The cost to play will be $10 per person. ** Current undergraduate/graduate students as well as recent graduates are encouraged to apply. **
CSU STEM VISTA Summer Associate placements are full-time (40 hours per week, 10-weeks) and will begin6/13/16 and end on F 8/19/16.

6. Parker Aerospace Free Facilities Tour
Parker
Aerospace has invited the Cal Poly's American Society of Mechanical
Engineers (ASME) to come down to Irvine and tour their facilities.
We will be going down on Friday, May 13th for
the entire day. This tour is open to all students in the College of
Engineering and you do not need to be a member of ASME. The engineers at
Parker are giving a full tour of the facilities down in Irvine.
Transportation down to Irvine, lunch, and dinner with the Engineers is all
included FOR FREE! This is a great opportunity to learn
about work going on at one of the industry's leading companies.
