There is a last-minute
opportunity for a summer internship. The position is with a local company, USL,
that makes high end audio systems for the theater industry. If you plan to stay
in SLO over the summer, this could be a great opportunity! As you’ll see in the

Job Description:
Join our team! EcoVox, Inc. is an energy data analytics firm founded by CalPoly
alumni, and is seeking a part or full-time summer intern. This position will
provide hands-on experience interfacing with analytics databases and creating
API queries to build custom apps, analytics algorithms, and business
intelligence visualizations. You will be part of a small team and have a real
impact on project development. JavaScript and SQL proficiency required; HTML,
Java, and CSS are a plus. Preferred third year student or above, but open to
any candidate with the desired skills. Option for ongoing full or part-time
employment at end of summer.
Pay: $15-$18/hr

3. BMED Courses
Offered Summer 2016
BMED 213 (along
with BIO 213) will be offered this summer in the first 5-week session (June
20-July 22). These two courses taken
together satisfy your GEB2 requirement.
The BMED 213 section is a fully online course although the instructor
will be available for regular office hours.
Topics include: biomimetic design, biotechnology, bioinformatics,
biomaterials, modeling biological systems, and design of advanced prosthetics
