Job Opportunity At Apple, Working With Siri

Message from Shaun Williams, manager of the Core Platform & Services team for Siri:
We have an open entry level position on my team called Integration Engineer that may be interesting for some of your students.

Integration Engineer is a software development position with the primary responsibility of managing the Siri Platform’s incoming bug queue.  This person is responsible for doing the initial diagnosis of new issues and either re-directing them to the appropriate team or just fixing the bug themselves.  The Integration Engineer also spends a lot of time working to better automate the bug screening process.

We see this position as a stepping stone for people interested in the sort of work my team does but lack the experience required for the Platform Developer role.  We expect that they would be able to transition into a Platform Developer role within 1 to 2 years.

The idea candidate has a BS in Computer Science or Computer Engineering and a passion for taking things apart and seeing how they work underneath.

If you are interested, contact Shaun Williams, Siri Platform Engineering, at shaun_williams@apple.com
