6. CPEs Club Updates and Events
Here are some updates on what the CPE club has been up to:

Professional Committee:
  • Prior to career fair, we held a resume workshop. Another reason for holding this was to train our committee to hold one themselves next quarter.
  • From career fair, our committee was able to obtain the contact information for a potential sponsor! The company name is Synoptek and we have sent out an email to them addressing
  • sponsorship options and future info sessions.

Educational Committee:
  • Our committee has held a couple of workshops these past two weeks, and they have been doing a great job! They held an intro to Python workshop and an intro to programming languages workshop.
  • Since midterm season is coming up, they are working on study sessions/groups.

Social Committee:
  • We are having a game night February 10th from 4-7! This will consist of board games, smash tournament, food and drinks.
  • They are working on planning future events for this quarter and the next.
