Date: Saturday, March 3rd, 2018
Time: 11 AM to 2 PM
Location: 20-115 (IEEE Collaboration Lab) and 20-116
Want to build your own portable charger? It’s small in size, practical, super easy, and super fun to make. You can even decorate the case however you want. It can take as little as fifteen minutes to make your own portable charger.
The Cal Poly IEEE Student Branch and Cal Poly Consumer Electronics Society (CESoc) are partnering to host a workshop where you can walk away with your own power bank and learn how to solder electronics.
No skills are required, and anyone is welcome to attend.
To join, please sign up for this event at calpolyieee.com/events/diy- portable-phone-charger/. Space is limited to the first twenty-five people who sign up. In addition, the first two people to attend can even get a free footlong USB to micro USB cable. Those who didn’t or couldn’t sign up can drop-in during the workshop, but are welcome to make a power bank on an available basis.
For $10 a person, not only do you get to make your own the power bank, but you can also get FREE pizza for attending.
Sign up online, and join us. We hope to see you there!
