4. NSF funded study on COVID-19's affects on undergraduate engineering students
Are you an undergraduate engineering student and 18 or older? If so, we need your help!
We are writing to ask for your help in determining how engineering students are coping with the COVID-19 pandemic and how COVID-19 is affecting student stress levels. This information will be used to help inform universities and engineering programs nationwide on how best to support students during this crisis and in future emergencies. If you are willing to participate, please use the link below to take the included survey. We estimate participation will take about 15 minutes. As an added bonus, the first 1000 participants will receive a $5 amazon.com gift card!

We are now recruiting for CESoc 2020-2021 officer positions! We want your help with planning and running events and contributing new ideas! Any student in any major who is willing to show commitment and initiative in our club is welcome to apply.
CESoc is a community of people with a shared passion for technology and consumer electronics. Our club hosts device repair and teardown events, hardware and software workshops, and tours of companies like iFixit. The available positions include General Officer, President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, Marketing Head, Projects/Events Head, and Webmaster. 8. STEM VISTA Career Program Coordinator Position
The CSU STEM VISTA program is a one-year leadership development program for early-career and emerging professionals. Our VISTA members apply their skills, knowledge, and talents to improve STEM education during their year of service. Whether you are a recent college graduate or bring many years of experience, the CSU STEM VISTA program can help you build your resume, learn on the job and grow your professional network. VISTA members work alongside a CSU campus team while participating in the CSU STEM VISTA leadership development program.
At Cal Poly SLO, as a VISTA member you will join the Career Services team and apply your skills, knowledge, and talents to improve STEM education at Cal Poly SLO as our STEM Career Program Coordinator. You will assist with data collection, research projects, and with expanding Career Services’ resources for STEM majors. In addition to program development and evaluation, you build relationships with diversity-related student organizations and programs and establish a mentoring program for STEM students through Cal Poly’s online student and alumni networking platform.
We are seeking someone with assessment, data analysis, and research experience; project management experience; the ability to balance shifting priorities; and a commitment to supporting inclusion and equity.

9. Spring Virtual Gender Equity Movement Training
Gender Equity Movement (GEM) training is an interactive 5 week training open to all students interested in learning more about gender, feminism, positive masculinity, and intersectionality. Certificate awarded at the end for those who complete a minimum of 4 of the 5 sessions and make-up any missed information.

TWO WAYS TO GET HELP WITH A CAREER ADVISOR
1. SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT
Virtual appointments (phone or Zoom) with Career Counselors are available Monday through Friday for any of your career-related needs: resume and cover letter review, change of major, career exploration, interviewing, job and internship search, networking, grad school, evaluating job offers, and more.
To schedule an appointment, login to MustangJOBS/Handshake through the Portal, click on Career Center drop-down, select Appointment, and follow the prompts. If you prefer, you can call Career Services at (805) 756-2501 to schedule.
2. VIRTUAL DROP-IN HOURS VIA ZOOM
Virtual Drop-in hours are recommended when you want immediate help on your career-related needs (same topics as appointments above).
Virtual Drop-in is offered Monday - Friday from 9:00am - 11:00am and 1:00pm - 3:00pm
